If your knowledge of Australia goes no further than Ramsey Street then you ought to take this visual tour of the Australian wilderness. God's creative majesty is shown to great effect by some superlative cinematography by Mick Eady. Personally, I would have liked some more information as to where exactly we were as, let's face it, Australia is a pretty big place. I know that the film was made as an aid to meditation rather than as a geography documentary but one of the wonders of DVD technology is that subtitles can be switched on and off as required. What of the music? Santé (previously known as Prayerworks) are part of the Phil and Chris Pringle's Christian City Church at Oxford Falls in Australia. To my ears they sound not unlike Iona but without the wind instruments. As an accompaniment to the visuals the music works well but with the pictures turned off the only pieces I remember are the ones that I knew beforehand: the arrangement of Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" is well done and the bonus clip of "Amazing Grace" being sung at Sydney Harbour is also good. So, in brief, visually stunning but musically bland.
