Keyboardist David Hadden (best known for writing a heap of congregational worship songs) and flautist Paula Kasica describe themselves as musicians who are "committed to seeing the restoring of a true relationship between people and God." They continue that "we believe in resting in his presence." Eight of the 10 tracks are penned by the duo, whilst of the other two one is credited to Hadden himself and the other to Faith Hadden. It's a transatlantic project with Hadden based in Leicester and Kasica a performing musician in the US. For the most part it is the flute that leads with its lilting, floating, soothing tones, the keys acting as accompaniment, allowed to come more to the fore on "The Call". It's often difficult to choose a standout track on an all instrumental release. But here is a beautifully executed set which may just enable you to relax at the end of a hard day, but could also achieve its stated goal of bringing you into God's presence in worship.
