I have this classic lp by this rockin ccm duo; more ccm history here! First thing you will note about album is that, the title is on the back and not on front cover.
Side 2 starts off with the radio hit "Let the Whole World Sing"; just love it!! Bob Farrell (1/2 of ccm duo
Farrell & Farrell) co-wrote this well crafted, up lifting
song; WTG guys, great song!! "In His Love" follows;
a beautifully written song: CCM artist Sandi Patty also
covered this song so elegantly on her "Live" album,
which was also released this same year. Side 2 ends
with a # written by pop icon Billy Preston in 1969,
"The Way GOD Planned It". Billy Preston was only 22 when he wrote the song; sadly Billy passed in June of 2006. "Ready or Not" is a song for today!; it is
classic ccm style as only this duo can deliver. Lyrics of "When It's Over" remind me of Dana Key's passing:
"...and He'll be with us to the very end, when it's over
it's over, I'LL BE STANDING IN THE PROMISED LAND".
The prayerful "Fill Me LORD" completes side 1 of lp;
how true the line "..the future comes far too fast".
