The 26th annual festival continued to bring out fresh new songs from popular worship leaders Chris Bowater and Godfrey Birtill as well as young writers Graeme Clark and Paul Simpson-Parry. Godfrey's "R U Ready" rockabilly pastiche is a song that has to be watched to take in the atmosphere as one of the highlights of the weekend. This DVD offers a style of worship for everyone with modern greats like "Happy Day" and "Mighty To Save" as well as gospel from guest worship leaders Mark Beswick and Geraldine Latty. Production is very tight which makes for an easy transition between worship songs, although filming techniques are rather repetitive until the cross fades during "Be Lifted Up", which really do add something. It's a shame they are not used more. Seeing camera shots of thousands of people worshipping is reminiscent of scenes more prevalent in Africa and was sometimes spine tingling during more intimate moments of worship. For a bit more than the price of the CD album, the DVD also offers an inspiring hour long sermon on Momentum from Stuart Bell, leader of Ground Level Network. All in all, an impressive package.
