After the release of the highly successful 'Good Monsters' Jars Of Clay are giving us a little treat to help us wait for the next album, in the form of 'Live Monsters' which I have to say I found disappointing. What you get on this mini-album are seven live renditions of songs released on the 'Good Monsters' studio set. For what it is, you get a real feel of what this band are like live, yet you somehow feel ripped off. "Work", "Oh My God" and "Good Monsters" are all great songs but by the end of these versions you ask yourself, "Is that it?" What would improve the quality would be a DVD with some interviews and live videos. As it stands though, this can only be recommended if you are a big fan of the band.
