The long awaited debut solo album from Kevin Max of dc Talk arrives with an offering that sounds like the more subtle moments of the 'Supernatural' album. This is quite ironic considering their pursuit for individual creativity (even though they are still touring together this year) but nevertheless Kevin possesses a remarkably distinctive voice perfectly able to stand in its own right, and indeed proves a standout feature of this project. Hardly for hardcore rock fans and of course one third of dc Talk equals to one third the creative input, but this remains a brave effort.
