Very few people have had as much influence in Christian music as Rebecca St James. As she has developed, generations have developed with her. She has stayed on top of modern musical styles, and sometimes preceded them. This album features two of her best, 1994's 'God' and 2000's 'Transform'. Since both albums have been reviewed on Cross Rhythms, I won't go into great detail on both albums. Her complex musical structures, rocky beats and versatile voice are brilliantly displayed across the two CDs, and tracks such as the inspiring "Stand", the devastatingly good "Go And Sin No More" and the classic dance track "Reborn" are all examples of her outstanding talent. Even if pop "isn't your thing", Rebecca creates music that almost everyone can enjoy. This 'Two For One' couldn't be better value, and a great place to start if you are beginning to discover her music.
