Stateside sons Shane Barnard and Shane Everett have given us a real gem with 'Pages'. A beautiful album filled to the brim with strong ballads, each song reflects upon the salvation and freedom that can be experienced by resting in the presence of God. Opening track "Vision Of You" has such warmth and a welcoming feel created by the subtle acoustic guitars and grand production. It's also stunning how the vocals of both Barnard and Everett overlap so naturally on "We Love You Jesus" and the hint of soul thrown into "Burn Us Up" is sublime. But here are two very talented songwriters in their own right. Lyrics such as "Sitting around the fireplace with a friend who has been through it all" sums up what the album is all about, finding refuge and a renewed faith when we need it most. The addition of "Psalm 62" is an excellent summary right at the heart of the record, paving the way for the highlight of the entire album, the classic hymn "Before The Throne Of God Above".

Product Description
Culled from the pages of Shane Barnard’s journal, duo Shane & Shane’s latest project, Pages, documents a personal season of change and re-evaluation. It also charts a subtle refinement and maturing of their acoustic worship style, ranging from the powerful “Vision Of You” and “In You” to the rousing “Burn Us Up,” the bluegrass-kissed “Beg,” and the worshipful pop anthem, “We Love You, Jesus.”

This is Shane & Shane’s first studio release for nearly 3 years.

I bought this album ages ago but never set down with the lyrics and really listened to what these guys were singing.

I have never found an album that glorifies the Lord in such a dignified manner and yet in such a beautiful way.

Some of these songs will break you, some will make your heart sing, some will make you just love God more. I have given this as a gift to friends and family and would recommend it to you.
