Sheila’s 20 years of recording have covered just about every musical base. But still producers seem unsure how to use Sheila’s sweet, feathery tones. The production here by Chris Harris (CeCe Winans, Avalon, Anointed) is in many ways very classic. But one is left unsure whether Sheila is endeavouring to be the Christian pop singer (“More Than Life”), the inspirational balladeer (“Jesus What A Saviour”) or the purveyor of Celtic worship (a rather stirring rendition of Robin Mark’s “Jesus, All For Jesus”). These days Sheila is as well known as a leading women’s ministry speaker and authoress as for her music. I don’t think this album will rectify that situation.
