There's more to Tim Cheshire and his new set of Superhero rockers than just heads-down riffola, as opening track "Secret Life Trees" will ably demonstrate. It's a brave move to put this brooding slow-burner at the start of the album, but one which I believe pays off. We're back on more familiar territory with "Big God Theory" and some muscular yet sympathetic and spacious production from Alan Branch. There are so many dimensions to this record... "Perfect Heart" is a truly beautiful acoustic ballad with vibes and subtle violin from Nikki Frey to compliment Tim Cheshire's vocal tour de force. With some dates coming up soon which will further enhance Glasgow's finest as a live band of note, things are looking very rosy for the new look Superhero, and this album hits all the right buttons.

I would have to say that Superhero is one of my new favorites. Amazing lyrics and freakin amazing vocals. All around talent. I'm especially excited cause they're on their first tour here in the US and they're coming for a special performance at my church tomorrow night! I'll get to meet this amazing band. Get this CD, asap : )

This is without a doubt the best album I have heard coming out of the UK for a long time. It transends genres and will become your favorite record of the year, this I can gauruntee.

Every song will hit you in the heart and lift your spirit and make you think!

I cannot recommend it enough.
