Underoath have firmly established themselves as one of the big hitters in the Christian and mainstream arenas and are today Tooth & Nail/Solid State's flagship band. This CD/DVD double pack contains a live experience for the fans, whom the band have gained through hard gigging and touring. The DVD is well filmed to make it visually interesting and really captures the live show. It contains no sloppy camera work and the audio is nice and crisp (apparently it supersedes their previous effort on DVD). Of course you can't decipher most of the lyrics unless you know them. It is obvious at times that the crowd get to fill in lines of the songs, showing how popular the band is. A lyric sheet is also provided. Having said that, however, a lot of the lyrics are quite hard to fathom. Musically, Underoath are hard to define but take metal to new territory. Aaron Gillespie is probably one of the best drummers on the scene today while the whole band pushes the boundaries of metal to its extreme. The CD mirrors most of the DVD tracks but were recorded at different venues.
