Rebecca St James gets gold album for 'Pray' project

AUSTRALIAN-born CCM star Rebecca St James added yet another gold record to her collection with the official RIAA certification celebration at EMI of her Grammy Award winning studio album, 1998's 'Pray', which has surpassed the 500,000 mark in sales. Rebecca remarked at the gold party event: "Pray is consistently the album people will come to me after my concerts and mention by name - often citing the impact these particular songs have had on their lives at a time when they needed encouragement from music. It's a project that has obviously meant a great deal to many - and it's a wonderful encouragement for me to see it go gold."
