Shirely Caesar received Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction

GOSPEL matriarch Shirley Caesar has been inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame as the first Rock My Soul honouree. At the first annual Rock My Soul concert held at Cleveland, Ohio's Allen Theater the veteran gospel singer was honoured. Said Terry Stewart, president and CEO of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame and Museum, "While this is the first year for this event, it is our hope that it will be an annual, community-wide celebration honoring rock and roll music's gospel roots and incredible legacy of Cleveland churches."
