Underoath quit Warped Tour amid lurid accusations

CHRISTIAN metal band Underoath have quit the Warped Tour. No specific reason has been given by the band other than the need to "focus on our friendship." In its current issue Kerrang! magazine report that Underoath's "sudden departure was prompted by tension caused as a result of onstage comments made by NOFX frontman Fat Mike. In last week's K!, we reported that Fat Mike had been baiting the band, mocking their religious beliefs, both onstage and off. Warped Tour gig-goers have also been alleging in messageboard posts that in Pittsburgh on July 27, during NOFX's set, Fat Mike claimed that Underoath vocalist Spencer Chamberlain had been drinking and using cocaine on NOFX's tour bus.

"'I can 100 per cent confirm that there was no drug use by anyone in the band during the Warped Tour,' Underoath's manager Randy Nichols tells K!. 'The situation with Fat Mike, while frustrating at times, was not enough to push the guys to leave the tour. He actually became friends with several of the guys in Underoath during the tour and even called them on their drive home to make sure they were okay and to be sure that he didn't have anything to do with it.'"

People who are struggling with drug addictions shouldnt look to god for help, because there is no god they will recieve no help from an imaginary figure. Instead they should recognize the serious damage they are doing to themselves and quit for practical reasons. Trust me, ive been in the same situation.

u dont have to try and be a Christian, u can just become a Christian! ask Jesus into your heart and confess ur sins, believe that He died and rose again and that He is Lord! confess Hi as Lord! u will be saved and u dont have to worry about "trying to be a Christian" but yes u must continue to fight against sin like an addiction to drugs

Christ came for the imperfect people.... But Spencer is over his addictions, according to the band

to be christian you don't have to be perfect because you are not god yourself, and I think spencer under stands that and is aware that he is human and makes mistakes.

Underoath is a awesome Christian band. Also I don't really think Spencer would do any drug.

Just because someone is a Christian doesn't mean they can do no evil. Drug addictions can affect anyone. Spencer has relasped many times before, and I also heard he was doing coke on his bus. He's also an alcoholic. That's just a double whammy! I hope he's alright.

what actually did force the guys to leave the tour.
i know its about their relationship with eachother. but y did they have to focus more on their realtionship.

and i highly doubt spencer would use drugs. he is a christian.

i love underoath, they are the greatest

You obviously know nothing about Underoath or Spencer.. He was a previous drug addict, and has relapsed many times.. Its unfortunate to see him have to go through that as i think he is amazing.. Define The Great Line is mainly about his drug use and the spiritual issues surrounding it. So, your theory about Christian's and drug use.. is wrong.
