Originally released by Sparrow in 1988 this is a collection of hymns recorded by the Jesus music pioneers when they were at the end of their musical career. You can hear their vast experience and clear love for the old hymns in every number - once you get past the '80s instrumentation (big synth pads and sampled horns) you have a very moving collection of favourite hymns. The opener is a medley of "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus", "Praise To The Lord The Almighty" and "All Hail The Power Of Jesus' Name". This sets the tone and thankfully every piece is delivered with the same majesty and perfect tempo. A bit unusual by today's crowded Hymnal-compilation standards but well worth checking out.
