My enthusiasm was aroused when I realised the title track is the very same anthem sung so superbly by renowned southern gospel quartet The Cathedrals. "Where Would I Be" came first though and its smooth sound made my gross impatience endurable. "Champion Of Love" still sounds great, Alvin pours on soul galore, though the backing was a touch too mild and restrained. In fact, this album contains a high proportion of quality songs from such as Andrae Crouch and Betty Hall and the artist's own compositions are very acceptable. On the whole, a comparatively quiet, gentle set, mature performances matched with good work all round
