Yes folks, CeCe is back, and if, like me, you were somewhat underwhelmed by the slightly cheesy inspo style of her recent offerings, be prepared to rejoice, because this has its fair share of phat beats and slamming grooves, especially with the guest appearance of hip hop crew GRITS on "Anybody Wanna Pray". Not that this is a total rave from start to finish; there are plenty of gentler moments, with strings and things to give a more easy listening feel. The quality of the songwriting is good throughout and with tight production from veterans Brown Bannister and Tommy Sims and vocal contributions from (amongst others) Chris Rodriguez, Angie and Debbie Winans, and Chris Eaton, this is one that deserves to sell by the truckload. Recommended.
