This 'Deluxe Gold Edition' of the American songwriter and worship leader's successful 2004 album includes the 12 tracks found on the original release plus two self-penned new songs, and two cover versions of familiar worship songs, "Hungry" and "Let Everything That Has Breath". The latter is the weakest track here, adding nothing new to a well-loved song while his take of the Vineyard UK classic is more successful. Of the new songs, "Burden Me" is an excellent rock anthem, while "Stand By" has an infectious chorus. If you already own 'Restored' you will have to decide whether two new songs are worth the extra outlay. However, for listeners new to Jeremy Camp, the new material makes for an extremely good value for money package. This is a quality album, though the lyrics are fairly general - any Christian can relate to them. It would be nice to hear some more personal reflections. The album encompasses stadium anthems, powerful rock and orchestral ballads. Initially it seems nothing sparklingly original with a generic pop rock sound, but it repays repeated listening.
