This is the songsmith's sixth studio album and is his most personal to date. The title track is an infectious up tempo number but, perversely, is about a difficult time in his life when Josh thought he was going to die. "Pushing Back The Dark" continues the theme of personal battle and is a spiritual warfare anthem calling us to take ground for the Gospel as does the Maroon 5-esq "Faith Is Not A Feeling" and pulsating "Wake Me Up". Although the majority of songs are breezy guitar-based melodies there is one standout story-ballad "I See God In You" about Wilson's 94 year old neighbour and a disabled child he knew. Josh Wilson does not mind straying from God-centred topics to a human relationship focus as on the finger-snapping "What A Mystery" and ukulele underpinned love song "One Safe Soul". A finely crafted set of songs.

Product Description
Rising singer/songwriter Josh Wilson returns this April with a highly anticipated new studio album. Known for being one of the top pop songwriters and author of 3 no.-1 hit singles and over 200,000 career album sales, Wilson has been living up to his well-earned reputation as "the future of Christian pop" since his 2008 début Trying to Fit The Ocean in a Cup.

Once again teaming up with acclaimed producer Matt Bronlewee, the new album features first single Carry Me which once again exhibits Wilson's gift of relating the challenges of life and the need for a Saviour like no one else. The song is a simple, honest prayer asking God to hold on to our fragile hearts - a prayer Wilson has voiced repeatedly since first experiencing severe anxiety and panic attacks. These vulnerable times reminding him that he is not in control no matter how hard he tries. "All I can do in those moments is pray," Wilson shares, "and I'm thankful that coming to the end of myself has brought me so close to a Father and Saviour who loves me and will never leave me."
