Kathy Troccoli has a very recognisable and distinct voice and I was looking forward to discover what she would do with this collection of songs. Most of the tracks feature just Kathy's voice and a simple piano or guitar accompaniment. The songs all flow into each other with no gaps between tracks, which creates a more authentic atmosphere of worship. Unfortunately, this album really does not stretch Kathy's voice at all and failed to move me. The choice of songs are beautiful, such as "e Touched Me", "Draw Me Close" and "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus". However, there have been so many versions of these songs over the years and Kathy fails to bring anything new to them. My attention wandered listening to this as the arrangements were very slow and did not bring out the passion of these songs. The intros alone on "There's Something About That Name" and "How Great You Are" were well over a minute long. I know worship can not be rushed, but this did little to inspire me. The pace picks up a little on "Wonderful, Merciful Saviour", but only for a moment.
