Can't quite make out if these albums are designed for the drivers of these vehicles - you know, those gas guzzlers that take up so much of the road in already congested streets! '4x4 Vol 2' is one in a series of six produced by Kingsway to bring together the work of British worship musicians. Four tracks by four artists. So it's good value with over 70 minutes of worship music with songs dating from 1995 through to 2004. One reservation I have is this, if you own albums by, for example, Matt Redman, why would you buy an album for the sake of the other three artists, especially if you have not heard them or heard of them? You might also have albums by the legend that is Dave Bilbrough too! I would be more inclined to purchase an album or two containing one highlight track from each of the 24 artists showcased in the series. Maybe in a double-disc format. Of course, it could be argued that the 4x4 series is different, groundbreaking even given the tyre marks that are used in the sleeve design! I cannot fault the worship material but the concept does not quite work for me.
