With a title track like this you know exactly what you are getting! But despite the excellency of its musicians (which is to be expected), I cannot really recommend this album. It's an instrumental of praise and worship choruses (plus a few original pieces) but the trouble is that the majority of the songs have been recorded and re-recorded countless times before- with a live congregation, without a live congregation, with a solo performer, in the studio- and instrumental.. Classics though they are, choruses such as "Isn't He Beautiful", "For We See Jesus", "Jesus, Holy And Anointed One" and "I Receive Your Love" are not on the cutting edge of new worship material. The most recent song is "Let Your Glory Fall" by David Ruis- a stirring anthem which hardly lends itself to this sort of treatment. Another major drawback is that 15 songs are squeezed onto 45 minutes of CD. The choruses are generally played twice (sometimes once!) in faithful rendition and then it's on to the next one. There seems to have been little thought into making an ALBUM of worship material. There are no spontaneous interpretations of the music, little freedom and a sense of going through the motions comes to mind. To be fair, it IS beautifully played, but I wouldn't be happy if I'd forked out 15 quid for this!
