Another of Forefront's '8 Great Hits' series sees the focus this time on dc Talk. This is the sort of release that can almost be reviewed without hearing it - you already know that the band and the songs are top-notch, so the only real quibble is over the selection. But, given that arguing over what should go onto a compilation disc is a traditional pastime for fans, I'm not going to pre-empt that! My main gripe is that eight songs is a bit on the short side, even for a mid-priced release. If you don't have anything by dc Talk in your CD collection, and aren't sure whether you like them or not, then this makes a good introduction that doesn't hit the wallet too hard. But existing fans will probably have most of these tracks already and prefer to hold out for a full length "best of" before buying an anthology.
