CeCe Winans featured on new Barbara Mandrell tribute album
MAINSTREAM country artist Barbara Mandrell is the subject of a tribute
album due for release on 10th October by BNA Records. Amongst those
contributing to the project, 'She Was Country When Country Wasn't
Cool: A Tribute To Barbara Mandrell', are LeAnn Rimes, Willie Nelson,
Reba McEntire and black gospel's CeCe Winans. CeCe has recorded a version of
"He Set My Life To Music" for the project.

It is about time that a tribute of this nature was done for this awesome lady! Barbara Mandrell paved the way for other female artists to headline their own shows and even do network television. She was an amazing entertainer and recorded a great body of music. I can't wait to hear this fresh arrangements of these great songs!
