On the inlay card on this re-issue of the 1981 album it says that this album has been digitally equalized in order to improve the "volume amplification, vocal intensity and instrument clarification" and this is evident in the piano on the first track "I'm Gonna Fly". This recording of an early concert by Grant features rock pioneers Degarmo & Key, who bring an edgier feel to the songs, particularly on "Too Late". One of the highlights, however, is the medley, in which the tracks seem to flow into one another seamlessly; really beautiful! The sentiments of the lyrics of many of the tracks, particularly "If I Had To Die", reveal a kind of innocence and idealism. The keyboards are very prominent throughout the album and it ends on a very upbeat track. There was no usual encore at the end but for those wanting a nostalgic look back at the the '80s or those too young to remember the original, this is not a bad album.
