A song from Mal's latest back-to-his-Welsh-roots 'Land Of My Children' album, though this remix utterly transforms the proud Welsh hymn, giving it a neo-Caribbean dance treatment. With Mai getting plenty of TV profile in Wales during the Rugby World Cup, maybe this will click, though despite the brashly jolly rhythms the Comical Brothers Remix didn't strike me as being either true to the original poignant transcendence of those glorious words ("Guide me oh thou great Jehovah/Pilgrim through this barren land") or sufficiently streetwise to get them dancing in Ibiza night spots.
