Welsh singer/song-writer/producer Maldwyn has put together a tight band for this album. Fretless bass, sax and flute add texture to a very live-sounding combo, a feel noto­riously hard to obtain in the studio. The songs follow a simple formula with the necessary ambiguity that seems to be required for what is now time-honoured crossover style. The hook lines should explain what I mean with “we can take it higher”, “we can put this world together again”, “you make me feel like a child again” and the title song “Love Will Find A Way”. They chug along with pumping bass lines similar to Alan Tarney's songs. Drums are low in the mix compared to current standards, which makes a change. Maldwyn’s voice is Chris de Burgh-ish with elements of soul. Not philosophical songwriting, but competent and interesting
