No guesses for spotting the theme of this album. Yes, worship is at the core of MacAlmon's third release and it gives an opportunity to experience the weekly worship services held at the World Prayer Center in Colorado, Stateside. From the moment the opener “Prelude” attunes the listener to what is about to follow you know it is not going to be rock and roll. Judging from the eight out the nine penned here, he has a mighty gift in writing, keyboard playing and orchestral arrangements. The arrangements are plush exuding quality in all departments on such titles as “Prepare Ye The Way”, “Spirit Of The Lord” and “Visit Us”. I like the way the fine female vocalists Shauna Chanda and Shannon Wexelberg are given free rein on “Captivate My Heart” and the acoustic stripped down opening to “How Long” which is nearest to my own musical taste. MacAlmon wears his heart on his CD sleeve, that is a desperation for a new thing - a glory visitation from God.
