This offering from celebrated American praise and worship leader Terry MacAlmon is a refreshing change from some of the criminally gruesome examples of kids' praise stuff that have been allowed to escape over the last 15 years or so. Rather than acting as a worship leader, Terry lets the kids sing, and they sing well on the whole, although there are a few rather lacklustre vocals here and there. Also, the songs themselves (all Terry's compositions) neither insult everyone's intelligence due to their mind-numbing banality, nor are so theologically obscure that the kids haven't a clue what the songs mean. At just over 43 minutes for 10 songs, running time is good, and whilst there have been more adventurous offerings in this field down the years, this is nicely safe and middle-of-the-road. Most of this would be suitable for the average Sunday school or Junior Church choir to perform.
