This would be the last Petra album to feature lead vocals by Greg X Volz. The title phrase of song "It is Finished" was in the air; Bill Gaither had recorded a song by same title as did Scott Wesley Brown. The words to Petra's "It is Finished" really hit; great song Bob Hartman. Side 2 has the anthem"GOD Gave Rock and Roll To You"; the pop/rock group Kiss would cover the song years later. "Hollow Eyes" is surely a memorable song from this album;another pleaser, thanx Bob H. I wonder how country icon Glen Campbell liked "Speak to the Sky"; it was dedicated to him. A more mellow version for last song "Adonai"
may have been listener pleasing. The album cover for this album disappointed; no guitar spaceship; and the group's name logo was soo small on back cover.
Still, another rockin Petra lp to add to the list. GOD Bless! -Don
