US star Sandi Patty speaks about new album 'Falling Forward'

INSPIRATIONAL veteran Sandi Patty spoke to US trade magazine Christian Retailing about her latest project 'Falling Forward' released by INO Records (Provident-Integrity). She said, "The idea came from something I remember when I was a kid. My dad would always make these fun games for me and my two younger brothers. We had a small house in Phoenix, so my dad thought, 'I'll stand on the ground and you guys can jump off the roof, and I'll catch you.' It sounded fun until we were on the roof. On my turn, I just froze there, and Dad said, 'Sandi, you're going to have to fall one way or the other. If you fall backward, I won't be able to catch you, but if you fall forward, I'll be able to catch you.' So the theme is, are we as believers going to fall backward and waste that crisis or fall forward into the arms of Jesus and his grace and mercy?"
