With a relentless stream of recordings, Hillsong certainly know how to milk the market. This time it's a two CD compilation of 28 fave worship songs - taken mainly from albums released over the last five years, with a few older tunes - and nearly all featuring Darlene Zschech on lead vocals. There's no question this lady has an unforgettable, amazing voice and a most infectious attitude. Personally, I recognised a good number of tracks, though there were a few newies to my ears, including the previously unreleased "My Hope", since featured on a new album of same name. The jazzy upbeat praise anthems are wonderfully uplifting, though you do need to be in the right mood to join in this celebratory spirit. Several Hillsong Youth tunes also feature ("King Of Majesty", "God Is Great", etc) and I kinda love the energy and infectious melodies that emanate from these. Attracted also to the numerous gentler worship songs, one that I just can't stop listening to being "You Are Holy" - a '97 song which truly helps lift me to another world! Yep, this is both a worthy worship resource and a highly impressive listening experience.
