Possibly Steven's finest ever album. Although some cuts recall the crisp pop gospel of 'Heaven In The Real World', on other tracks there's a riveting Delta blues influence thanks to some stunning slide guitar. The style is reminiscent of the Doobie Brothers for those of you over 35. Steven's greatest strength -catchy melodic hooks which nag away at even the most resistant listener are here in abundance while Brown Bannister's production is, as expected, top notch while the lyrics are uncompromising, talking about the walk of the Christian life, prayer and the signs of life. The tracks vary from the lively "Lord Of The Dance" to the quieter and beautiful "What I Would Say". In CR34 this album is stated as representing a radical musical progression for Chapman. But whether you are a long time Chapman fan or simply someone who caught the CCM star at Greenbelt, this classy album will draw you back again and again.

First off, I want to offer my Greatest Sympathy to Steven and his family for the loss of Maria late last year!!I cannot say enough in words how sorry I am for your great loss; all I know to say is that "I know that GOD is there for you!" Remember the last song on this cd "HOLD ONTO JESUS!!"; I luv this song, probably one of my all time favorites from this cd. I luv the cd starter "LORD of the Dance"; also have the video. I am reminded of the verse in Psalms 30:11, "THOU hast turned for me my mourning into dancing.....". "Let Us Pray" is always a song in season!!; and the first line of this song connects with my initial words for the Chapman family. "The Walk" and "Free" are also cd favorites. GOD Bless! -Don
