2001 was a big year for Larry Norman. Shortly after recording his 'Tourniquet' album, he was rushed to hospital to have emergency quadruple bypass surgery. Since then he has been very weak, but has continued to release CDs. This live set was recorded on 5th May of that year and features Larry Norman on vocals, acoustic guitar and nothing else. He's on form, mixing tracks from throughout his career with anecdotes about a wide variety of subjects, and all in front of a highly appreciative audience. He even peppers some of the tracks with some special effects, using his voice to imitate an electric guitar. Larry Norman aficionados will lap this one up. Anyone new to his brand of music may be advised to start elsewhere, as there are quite a few live CDs on his record label.
