I've lost count of the number of different Best Ofs that have appeared in one form or another on the Larry Norman website. I guess with a catalogue as large as Larry's, it makes sense to have a couple of easy albums to introduce the man's music to newcomers but I'm not convinced that we need another compilation. This one contains the best loved songs that weren't included in 'Volume One' and so is packed with goodies like "Small Circle Of Friends", "Let That Tape Keep Rolling", "Watch What You're Doing" and "The Rock That Doesn't Roll". Not sure whether "Strong Love, Strange Peace", "Hymn To The Last Generation" and the "Everybody Work" medley really deserve a place on here. If you've never bought a Larry Norman album buy this and 'Volume One' to get some clues as to what the fuss is about. Otherwise you'd be better advised sinking your cash into buying 'Only Visiting This Planet', 'In Another Land', 'So Long Ago The Garden' and 'Something New Under The Son' which contribute 13 songs to this collection.
