There are many CDs and a fair few DVDs of the Jesus music legend live in concert but such is the charisma of the veteran that even in his failing years he remained a powerful on-stage communicator. This concert was filmed in Norway in 2006 and reminds us all of the huge loss of his recent passing. Filmed at the Seaside Festival, Larry is clearly weak but the power of his classic compositions like "Why Don't You Look Into Jesus" and "Why Should The Devil Have All The Good Music?" still shows through, even if at times Larry appears exhausted. It seems that right at the end of his life the songsmith could still deliver the goods as he does on "The Great American Novel" - a song as biting as anything Bob Dylan ever wrote. Frequently Larry gives his voice a rest and talks about his life and what has happened to him and also covers the Rolling Stones/Staple Singers' "The Last Time". His voice on the final song "I Wish We'd All Been Ready" sounds a little worn, which actually helps the track. There's also some footage from a previous appearance by Larry at the Seaside Festival and an interview with the man himself by Tron Mathisen. More memories of the maestro.

The essential video all try Norman fans should have. Muscially it is the best. Larry is showing his health issues in this video but he puts on a great show. 12 Good Men is just simply awesome.
