After sharing the stage with top Christian music acts like P.O.D., Newsboys, Red and Sanctus Real, Minneapolis-based rock band Silverline have been signed to LA's Dream Records. The band's 'Lights Out' album was produced by Ben Kasica, formerly of Skillet and is already receiving positive reviews. Cross Rhythms wrote, "There's enough edge in the guitar work and screamed bits in the vocals to draw in some hard music headbangers and enough catchy hooks to ensure that pop fans will come back for more." The band consists of Ryan Edberg (vocals), Steve Adams (guitar), Luke Turg (guitar), Nathan Langert (bass) and C C Starnes (drums). Ryan ran through each song on 'Lights Out'.

"Hold On"
This is one of my personal favourite songs. Sometimes we don't feel like we are up to the call God has on our lives. This song is saying "ready or not doesn't matter, today we're going to take this city". It doesn't matter if we feel like it sometimes, we just push through. This song is about standing together as Christians to get something done.

"Lights Out"
This song is about not playing games anymore and turning the lights out on one chapter of life and starting a new one.

"Never Looking Back"
This song is very straight forward and talks a lot about not dwelling on the past but looking forward. This song is really about starting over new!

"With The Angels"
"With The Angels" is a very special song. This was written not even to be on the CD but just me and a guitar praising God on my own. I played it once for a sound check and everyone said we should use it! This song is just realising how big God is and giving him praise.

"Vicious"
This song talks about as people we often talk behind people's backs and say things that cut deep. There is power in the words we use and we need to watch what we say. Use what you say to bring life and not death.

"Found In You"
This is a great rock track. Sometimes we are afraid to give up things to become a Christian. We think that it's about what we think we need to quit to become a Christian instead of gaining everything! We never realise that what we want to hang on to is really nothing at all.

"Be Still"
We often get very, very busy in life. We can get so worried about life and every day to day things. We forget to just BE STILL and ask God what he has for us instead of always trying to do it on our own.

"War"
We are in a battle everyday. This world is trying to keep our eyes off God and put them on anything else. We see negative stuff all day long and wonder why so many people are depressed.

"Something Better"
"When everything is lost and everything is broken you pull me out into something better with you." There is something better in God if people would give him 100%. He really takes the pressure of this world off us.

"Never Too Far Gone"
This is a story of a girl who feels like she has nothing left to live for. It doesn't matter what happens in life; God waits with open arms. It's hard for youth today to understand what love is or a "heavenly Father" when they have not ever seen love here on earth. This song is a story but more of a prayer that anyone listening to it would feel love and worth! CR
