Casey leads worship at North Point's three Atlanta campuses, amongst other places. Here the singer/songwriter presents his material for the first time for the North Point label to which he signed in 2010 having previously released an independent EP. The opening track "When The Waters Rise", with its Coldplay-style piano introduction, has an instant anthem feel and demonstrates Casey's strong songwriting gift, referring to God's saving grace in difficult times. The Coldplay influence is also demonstrated on "Brilliant Light" and "Only Our God". To these ears, the outstanding tracks on the album are the beautiful chorus style "Faithful Over Us" and the gentle "Light Of The World". Casey has managed here what other artists strive to achieve, a way to communicate worship in a relevant, current style, with lyrics that worship God while speaking into the life of the listener. Recommended.
