This album kicks off with a funky piece of garage featuring Angie Johnson, called simply "You". It s more of a love song than a worship tune, but it's a smooth groove free from many of the immoral trappings expected in many other songs of this style. "Caught Up" increases the pace and the energy while encouraging us not to get distracted by the troubles this life brings. "It's Easy" featuring the Rhythm Masters will be recognised by many, having appeared on many of this summer's dance floors throughout Europe. However, "Yes" featuring Stella Browne,Inaya Day and Suzy is the highlight for me, with its punchy start and huge vocal hook. Shame there s no remixes here: the two instrumentals on this offering provide a nice contrast, one with filtered keyboard riffs; the other with some serious Latin syncopation. But the seven tracks here don t really add up to an album's worth of material (as the price would suggest). It's all good and well produced, but we want more!
