Amidst the recent surge of metal music from the Slates, Faithbomb have burst onto the scene with their own unique blend of sonic intensity. Featuring Scott Carter (drums), Mike Grefon (guitar), Chris Manning (guitar) and Rob Colwell (vocals), Faithbomb play loud, tightly delivered hooks coupled with) in-your-face spiritual intensity powerfully delivered by Rob. Regrettably, -however, 'American Jesus' is poorly recorded where the listening experience is likened to that of hearing music being played through closed doors, causing the sound to be muffled. This aside, Scott, Mike and Chris are evidently proficient musicians, who play well together; resulting in an interesting and compelling sound throughout the proceedings. Only time will tell if the doors will ever swing wide enough for Eailhbomb's potential to become fully realised.
