I've always been impressed by the way that Johhny Parks takes a few chances when he's leading worship and recording albums. The problem with not doing worship albums in the same way as everybody else is that the less adventurous can be scared. Don't be frightened here! This is a superb selection of songs from a man whose evident enthusiasm for his God means that he's not afraid to let rip! This sounds great! Highlights for me are the reworking of the popular "Glory", the brilliant intensity of "Glorious" which has a slight touch of Coldplay about it, and the upbeat electricity of the title cut. Vicky Beeching shows up to duet on "Season Of Singing" and see if you can spot Tim Hughes doing some singing! There's something prophetic about Parks, he's a man who's clearly seen something in the spiritual realms and is determined to bring it into the present. It's radical, a tad dangerous and one of the most exciting worship albums you'll hear this year.

This song has been a great inspiration to me when I have been down. I love the Lover of my soul
