Sex and relationships is just one of the major issues that young people face today and it can often be hard not to just fall in line with today's promiscuous culture. As Christians, we are, however, called by God to be pure. Whether content in the single life, happily married or anything that goes between, this book Biblically addresses the issues that we all face when it comes to communicating with the opposite sex. Rather than act as a self-help guide it takes the reader back to the root of messed up relationships and helps in understanding the nature of the sinful heart. But, even though the crux and implications of the problem are serious and challenging you'll find this book to be non-judgemental, lightly humoured and full of gentleness and grace.
Initially Pure was designed as a six-week small group course for university and college students that Linda Marshall said evolved into the book. At the end of each chapter is a set of study questions which aid the reader in thinking through the points raised.
