'Unceasing' celebrates 10 years of ministry at the renowned International House Of Prayer in Kansas City. All songs on the album have been birthed during times of worship and span a variety of releases ranging from 'Merchant Band' in 2004 to more recent recordings such as Luke Wood's 2009 album 'Sound Of War'. This CD recognises the involvement of a number of worship leaders in the IHOP ministry over the years including: Misty Edwards, Justin Rizzo, Cory Asbury, Julie Meyer, Tim Reimherr and many more. A mixture of studio and live recordings, this album has a seamless ebb and flow, moving from moments of intimacy in "My God Is King" to anthemic tonsil-wrenching rock in "Holy". Having said this, all the songs sit comfortably together in this powerful CD. You not only get to hear songs that are well crafted and expertly produced, but you also get a sense of the prophetic weight that is carried in a number of the songs. I found the final track "He Loved Me To The End" particularly moving as a declaration of God's power and love and one containing moments of prayer and intercession interwoven within the music. Worship albums seldom reach such involving heights as this one.

Product Description

International House of Prayer Missions Base of Kansas City IHOP-KC celebrates ten years of day and night prayer and worship. The songs on the album are a small reflection of music created and birthed at IHOP-KC.

“Since 19 September 1999 we have continued for ten years in night and day prayer with worship as the foundation of our ministry to win the lost, heal the sick and to make disciples as we labour alongside the larger body of Christ to see the great commission fulfilled and to function as forerunners who prepare the way for the return of Jesus.

“By the Grace of God we are committed to combining 24/7 prayers of justice with 24/7 works for justice until the Lord returns.

“We do this best as our lives are rooted in prayer that focuses on intimacy with God and intercession for breakthrough of the fulness of God’s power and purpose for this generation.”

Unceasing is a celebratory compilation album featuring corporate worship songs from past and present worship leaders, including Misty Edwards, Justin Rizzo, Tim Reimherr and Cory Asbury.
