Whether you have been married for years or have taken a vow of celibacy please read on. Yes, this is a useful resource for those contemplating matrimony and also for those who conduct the service but it is also a lovely collection that should bring pleasure to all music lovers as well as the happy couple. To be cynical this is a sampler for the Naxos back catalogue. But what is the problem with that? Naxos have a catalogue to be proud of and give superb value for money. For example, you won't pay more than £10 for this double CD that has almost two and a half hours of music. All the old favourites are present, from Bach's "Jesu, Joy Of Man's Desiring" to Mendelssohn's "Wedding March" along with plenty of less predictable choices. A real bonus for the wedding planner are the helpful notes, including addresses for obtaining sheet music, information about the legal aspects of playing or performing music in public and even a difficulty rating for each piece.
