A rather odd compilation. Most of the tracks here are from southern gospel acts. So you've got The Hoppers doing an acappella version of "O Come All Ye Faithful", Karen Peck & New River showing off their country roots on "Sweet Christmas Birth" and veteran George Younce (once the lead singer of the Cathedrals) warbling his way through a rather painful version of "Silent Night". But you've also got jazz horn player Sam Levine playing "Do You Hear What I Hear?" and most mysteriously of all, an instrumental rendition of "Joy To The World" credited to Various Artists. Overall, this compilation sounds suspiciously like the kind of thing piped around department stores each year. Approach with caution.
