You know how it is. You get half way though that Michael Card album and a song just hits you between the eyes as being so powerful and yet so simple. Well, here is an album full of those songs, 17 in all and from the original artists. Spanning nearly 20 years and with such big American names as Michael W Smith, Twila Paris, Glad, Rich Mullins, Michael" Card and Kathy Troccoli, there are no weak tracks to be found here. While it will be too easy listening for contemporary tastes, it is a great aid to focus on God and lives up to the sales pitch on the back cover - "17 timeless inspirational performances by the original artists."
