Not a bad idea of where safe middle-America is at when it comes to radio-rock music. Favourites would include the OC Supertones' "We Shall Overcome", "Things We Go Through" by Hawk Nelson (nice 'n' heavy 'n' melodic at the same time) and Telecast's "The Beauty Of Simplicity", which is exactly what it says on the tin. A brilliant worship song full of feeling and heart-felt devotion, brilliantly played. This song should be fitting in very nicely to any self-respecting praise band's repertoire if there is any justice in the world. Two tracks don't fit on the compilation though. One in particular is extremely annoying - it's by KJ-52 and is called "KJ Five Two". This is repeated almost interminably, to the point where you want to scream at the CD player and tell the guy to get a life! Hence two squares off, I'm afraid. The rest, as I say, is good solid US rock that may induce some head-nodding and finger-tapping. You may even find yourself whistling. Overall, nothing too left-field, and nothing too challenging, but plenty to enjoy and sing along to, as long as you have your finger poised on skip for the KJ 52 track(!) You'll be wanting to listen to this CD more than once, I'd suggest.
