Sporting a rather retro flower power cover design, this latest compilation is a meaty 50-track three disc collection of songs penned by some of the most accomplished worship writers of this generation. For the majority, this release features tracks performed by the original artists with a healthy mix of versions by other singers for good measure and is of the highest standard both lyrically and musically. There are multiple songs from a plethora of established writers here - Chris Bowater, Geraldine Latty, Robin Mark, Paul Oakley, Matt Redman and Stewart Townend to name but a few (check out the understated epic "I'm Grateful" and the poignant "Kyrie" for a measure of the latter's abilities.) Elsewhere, emerging artists such as Andrew Mitchell ("Lord Of All The Earth", "Spirit Of The Lord" and "Amazed By Your Love") are justifiably given equal billing to their more recognized counterparts. The pleasing aspect of this collection is that the compilers have resisted the temptation to opt for the more well known and compiled-to-death numbers and have instead chosen to showcase tracks from each artist's more recent album releases.
