Their "Best Of British Contemporary' album is a ragbag of styles but nearly everything is good in its genre. Frantic rools from Why?, mellow acoustic from Jenny And Alex Legg, raw indie from Split Level, classy pop from Paul Field and for me ihe standout, those gone but not forgotten Leeds rappers HOG. If you haven't got many of the source albums they're worth investigating.
