Nine DJs from both sides of the Atlantic provide a chill-out collection of laid back grooves and ambient soundscapes. Andy Hunter kicks off the set with his unmistakably cool drum'n'bass vibes, Kenny Mitchell supplies a more trippy work and Mark Edwards does something more Gregorian/jazz if you can imagine that! Doug E Ross also deserves a mention for the exquisite "Feel The Unseen". This will make any lousy day melt away as the music (and the Spirit who inspired the music) restores your soul. Not enough of this kind of music is released by the Christian Music labels, so I hope for success here...but their inexperience in compiling such a compilation shows: the 11 chill out tracks are violently split by two pumping trance tracks. Okay, they are produced by respectable DJs, but they kind of have the same effect on the collection as a bonfire on an ice-rink! Zarc Porter's offering sounds like it was restored from last decades' trash can, but even geniuses have off days. And the rest of this product may just be an antidote to off-days.
